Fasting plasma glucose test which, is considered as the most preferred test for people with diabetes and requires a person to go fasting at least eight hours or ideally the night before the test to ensure that the blood sample that will be drawn and examined for glucose levels is accurate.

Gestational diabetes symptoms are caused by a specific type of diabetes that occurs only in pregnant women and is usually diagnosed between the 24th and 28th weeks of pregnancy. When a woman find the symptoms of diabetes during pregnancy, she should take advice of her doctor immediately to be treated on time. Talk with the doctor if you have these symptoms, so that you can be examined for diabetes at any time on pregnancy. You would have to eat sweet dish before the test of blood sugar content in the first examine.
